The I-RESTART project aims to retrain and upskill workers from the agri-food and veterinary sectors. In addition, another focus is on students who want to enter the agri-food sector. It aims to improve digital skills and contribute to the European Green Deal Initiative. To achieve the above objectives, I-RESTART will facilitate the transfer of skills across sectors and generations by introducing an innovative microcredential methodology (=compact teaching units) and work-based learning experiences. The consortium of 29 partners from 11 countries will identify required competencies and needs, develop occupational profiles and detailed curricula that reflect country needs while complying with EU quality standards (ESCO, EQAVET). Close links will be established with the Pact for Skills initiative to produce useful content for members who will implement the Pact.
